“Africa is called the ‘Last Frontier of Missions,’ largely uncharted missionary terrain,”. Globally, [Greg Von Tobel] noted, “Prisons are [also] the last frontier of missions. We’re seeing an incredible working of the Holy Spirit all around the world. I’m seeing the life changes before my eyes.”
“When they hear Prisoners for Christ is coming, they open up the whole prison for us. We get some pretty large crowds.” Though very successful, when they leave, the real work begins. It’s a two-step process. PFC evangelizes but follows Scripture by training in-place missionaries.“ When we leave, our missionaries, who we support financially, go back to these prisons on a weekly or monthly basis,” developing the new faith of the young Christians converts PFC left behind.
At one point, Von Tobel asked for prayer for “traveling mercies, an outpouring of the Holy Spirit, safety from injuries, bandits and health risks,” because “the world is not a friendly place anymore.”
