PFC<\/strong>\u2019s Statement of Faith<\/h2>\n
  • That there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.<\/li>\n

    Matthew 3:16, 17; I Peter 1:1,2; Isaiah 48:16<\/em><\/p>\n

  • The Bible is the inspired, inerrant, infallible, authoritative word of God.<\/li>\n

    II Timothy 3:16, 17<\/em><\/p>\n

  • Man is, by nature, a sinner from birth.<\/li>\n

    Psalm 51:5; Romans 3:23; Romans 5:12, 13<\/em><\/p>\n

  • Jesus Christ was virgin born, sinless, died on the cross for the sins of the world, was buried raised from the dead on the third day and is coming again.<\/li>\n

    Matthew 1:18-21;\u00a0\u00a0 Hebrews 4:15;\u00a0\u00a0 I Corinthians 15:1-4;\u00a0\u00a0 John 14:3,4<\/em><\/p>\n

  • Salvation is a free gift, bestowed by God’s grace and received by faith.<\/li>\n

  • A believer’s salvation is secured by Christ alone.<\/li>\n

  • Immersion in water of a professed believer is the Biblical baptism and such baptism is symbolic of Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection.<\/li>\n

  • The church is the bride of Christ and the body of Christ.<\/li>\n

  • The local church is governed by Godly men known as elders or bishops.<\/li>\n

  • Marriage is the union of one man and one woman. No other type of union is a Biblical marriage.<\/li>\n

  • The purpose of the church on earth is to fulfill the last command of Jesus.<\/li>\n

  • Christians are endowed with spiritual gifts which enable them to minister in the church.<\/li>\n

  • The Holy Spirit, whom every believer receives at conversion,leads and guides us.<\/li>\n

  • In the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life and in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus.<\/li>\n
